Your part:

You'll provide brand materials before our first workshop, and we collaborate to develop your brand strategy. Final copy edits—especially personal stories and artwork descriptions—are yours to complete so your authentic voice shines through.

You'll also receive a pre-project photo guide showing exactly what images to prepare.

Yes - we can help you figure out which print-on-demand and shipping plaforms are right for you depending on your goals.

It's robust and easy to understand, with an intuitive drag-and-drop editor that makes maintaining a consistent look and feel effortless. The platform requires almost zero maintenance or upkeep, and updates are straightforward. Things generally just work - it's rare that a simple update in one place causes unexpected problems elsewhere, which anyone who's worked with websites knows isn't always a given.

Beyond the core functionality, Squarespace offers visually stunning templates, a large user base and community for support, comprehensive documentation, and flexibility for customization when you need it.

Rule-of-thumb: If your online store will be managing less than 100 products, pick Squarespace. Got more than 100 products? Go Shopify.

Why?

Where Squarespace is a beautifully designed website builder with added e-commerce functionality, Shopify was designed to be an e-commerce solution first (it’s kinda in their name). Our experience is that Squarespace gets complicated when you try to manage a lot of products, simply because this isn’t what it was built for. Shopify on the other hand, was built for managing hundreds to thousands of products online, and still offers a great user experience.

For small and simple online stores, Squarespace offers the best user experience, and gives the highest design quality for the lowest cost. For online stores managing large product inventories, or requiring more complex setups (e.g. not every country works with Squarespace’s payment solutions) - Shopify is the recommended choice.

Why not just go Shopify in the first place?

Shopify has a steeper learning curve for you as a store manager, and is more cumbersome for things like managing a portfolio or other non-store pages. So it depends on your website needs.
